I AM directed by the Secretary of State for India in Council to acknowledge the receipt of Mr. Langley's letter of the 14th November, and to say that Lord Crewe concurs in the reply proposed to be made to the note from the Netherlands chargé d'affaires enquiring whether the 30th May next would suit His Majesty's Government as the date for the opening of the proposed Opium Conference at The Hague.
